A recent bouquet, as always. This one for my love. All links in this post lead to music.

I made something for a friend a few weeks ago who is facing serious illness in his family, and thought about how many others could use the gift, too.

It is meant to be medicine.

It is a mixtape with a very intentional flow.

It is meant to facilitate catharsis, elevation of spirit and spiritual strength.

Here are your instructions for ingesting:

In this moment that is so busy and heavy with the needs of others, please find time to listen to this mix, in order, in one sitting. It is an hour and 15 minutes long. Don’t cheat, listen all at once.

Please do not do anything else while you do this. Please be alone in a quiet place where you will not be interrupted for a few hours. Sitting in the dark might be good, or, conversely, the light.

You may meditate or you may let your mind wander, it doesn’t matter. You are encouraged to dance if the spirit moves you.

You may be a pleasant high but should not be drunk.

You are encouraged to cry if you feel moved. It’s okay if you don’t like it, for it is not about “liking,” just surrender to the experience.

Share with others as needed/moved.
